This brief tutorial helps you enter the basic data into the curriculum analysis tool provided by J L Williams Consultancy (or J L Williams Education). Fuller support can be provided directly.

You will need an up to date spreadsheet programme such as Excel, Open Office, Google Docs etc. Please not that some functionality will not work on Mac/ linux/ cloud systems.

  •  Access the files from the source given by J L Williams Consultancy

  •  The file you want is called “Curriculum Analysis generic spreadsheet (date)”.

  •  Login with your client username and password (already given).

  •  Save it with a file name “ Schoolname Curriculum Analysis v1.0 date”. 

  •  Please can you back up your file regularly.

  • If part of your agreement with J L Williams Consultancy, copy it to your school folder on the shared area.

  •  When you open the file you will be asked a number of questions:

  1.  A security message about Macros. Please choose “enable macros” (your security level should be “medium”)

  2.  An authorised user message. Choose “YES”.

  3. You may also be asked a message about “read only”. If asked, choose “No”.
